Site specific projection created by Geremy Lague, William Bessai-Saul, and Gerald Saul for Nuit Blanche in Regina Saskatchewan on August 30, 2025. The projection was 10 feet tall, although originally conceived to be much larger on a side of real building. Geremy brough the idea together through the use of MadMapper 5.7.0 software which allowed us to place pieces of film or animation which had no background (such as the footage of the actors against green screen with the screen removed) onto a solid background. As such, this project has about 40 video clips that are mostly different lengths which then play on top of a background, which is also part of the program. As there are many different running times, the project is constantly looping but also constantly fresh and new. It could run for days without ever truly showing the same thing twice. The content of the work is Canister the Robot and a variety of other characters we have collectively created over the past 15 years including William as Canister's child sidekick "Sawboy" or the disillusioned adult incarnation "Buzzkill" whom William has been using within his photographic projects recently.. Professor Delusia also appears as he has been a recuring antagonist to Canister for many years, although also appearing as his own character originally. Geremy reprised his role of "Squidmulon" and. Geremy's daughter appears as a few different characters including "The Red Death".
